BCIwiki tracks the brain-computer interface field, covering research papers, clinical trials, regulatory policy, funding events, and institutional profiles, in both Chinese and English.

Brain-computer interfaces are moving from the lab into clinics and industry. The record of that progress is scattered across journals, trial registries, regulatory filings, company announcements, and press coverage, which is laborious to read through once and harder still to trace back later. We turn the items that carry real progress into structured entries, filed by organization, technical topic, and region, so they are quick to scan now and still findable years from now.

 → What gets included

An entry needs at least one new fact, such as:

• new research results, papers, datasets, devices, or experimental methods;
• a clinical trial registering, opening enrollment, performing an implant, reporting results, or being terminated;
• regulatory and policy decisions that affect development, trials, or market access;
• funding rounds, acquisitions, partnerships, or operational changes that carry substance;
• significant facts disclosed by credible media beyond official materials.

Items that are all slogan, vision, or repeated promotion are left out. When several outlets cover the same event, we merge them into one entry and file the rest as related sources.

 → How entries are written

Each entry has a summary, an editorial note on why it matters, key figures, and related sources. The summary covers what happened, what the evidence is, how far it has progressed, and what limits remain. The editorial note is the editor's own judgment on why the item is worth following.

 → Corrections and revisions

We make mistakes. Confirmed factual errors are corrected, and every revision is documented publicly in the revision log. If you spot a problem or have information to add, please leave a message via submit a tip.
