BCIwiki (bciwiki.com) — According to Shenzhen Hanix United, the Shenzhen Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) Industry Association was launched in China on October 21, 2026. The launch took place at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International BCI Industry Innovation Conference and the Sixth Brain Science Frontiers and Industry Conference, which opened that day. The Shenzhen Society for Brain Science led the association's formation together with enterprises and innovation organizations in the BCI field.
The report identifies three priorities: collaborative innovation across government, industry, universities, research, healthcare and finance; joint development of industry standards; and cultivation of the industry ecosystem. The association aims to support the translation of research into practical use and connect resources across the industry chain. These are its announced work priorities.
According to the report, the association plans to draw on its location in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to build platforms for regular industry exchanges, resource matching and brand showcases, while connecting with innovation networks in China and abroad. Shenzhen Hanix United describes it as an industry social organization formally registered with civil affairs authorities.
