NeuroXess plans to manufacture high-channel flexible implantable electrodes, neural recording equipment, implantation robots and fully implanted wireless BCI systems at the site. It is targeting stable supply at the 10,000-unit scale. The project also includes a neural-data center and a simulated living and rehabilitation area for implant users.
The announced capacity is a construction target rather than operating output. Reaching it will depend on completion of the facility, medical-device quality systems, supply-chain performance and regulatory progress. A subsequent Xinhua report corroborated the groundbreaking date and location.
