BCIwiki (bciwiki.com) — WABO (瓦博科技) ran a neural art experience for four days at the Snapdragon Pavilion during ChinaJoy 2026, generating more than 100 AI artworks with on-site participants, the company said in an update posted on its website on August 7, 2026. The exhibition was held from July 31, 2026 to August 3, 2026 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
Participants wore a non-invasive EEG headband and viewed feedback derived from their current signal state, with task-specific signal features serving as one input to the artwork-generation process. The company says the experience did not attempt to read private thoughts or translate unrestricted mental content.
The on-site setup paired WABO's signal-acquisition hardware with a laptop powered by the Snapdragon X Elite platform, and signal processing, model inference and visual generation were all completed on the endpoint. Behind each image, the company says, the system chained several engineering layers, including neural-signal acquisition and quality checks, structured task data and signal processing, on-device model inference, and visual generation with immediate participant feedback.
According to WABO, running the experience continuously for different visitors in a busy public exhibition provided practical observations on device setup, signal quality, latency and interaction design, and served as a test of how a neural-intent workflow behaves outside a controlled development setting.
